Meet Noah Vail—author, philosopher, humorist, gin rummy ace, and all-around “good
news sort of guy.” Noah is a horse, of course, a handsome bay gelding
with a debonair flair. Together with his partner and personal assistant, Madam (who
happens to be human), Noah writes. More to the point, he talks and Madam writes
about life—about “the human and equine condition”—and offers his unique perspective
on a variety of topics. From his room at Evergreen Farm or when touring the country
in his Comfy Sundowner horse trailer or attending international horse festivals, Noah’s
observations feature a central theme—the power of yes! As Madam and Noah write,
“Yes, after all, is good for friendships. Yes broadens the possibilities for fun. Yes opens
the door to new adventures, and yes can even spark up a dull workday.”
He's no ordinary horse, and his comments hold universal appeal. Whether remarking on work
or play, old friends or new, the state of the world, or even love and loss, Noah does so
with a positive outlook and with “equal parts fun and funny.”
